new hippo name
We live in Brighton and drive by often on the
way into Milford. We always enjoy seeing your
large hippos out front.
A large collection of hipos resides at our
house too.
A good name for the new addition would
be "Bubbles" since its a fountain hippo ....
This is the Name of the "baby" (now about the
size of a volkswagen) hippo at the Toledo zoo.

Just to make a correction - the "baby" at the
Toledo Zoo is Herbie not Bubbles. Bubbles has
been at the Toledo Zoo for 30+ years - I think
she's closing in on 51+ yrs old. She had 11
babies but sadly her mate Cupid died several
years ago. Emma is Herbies' Mom.

Have been wanting to let you folks know for some
time how much I love the hippos. I pass them
most days on my way to or from work (avoiding 23
& 59). They always make me smile - something I
really need most days on my way to or from work!!
